Kingdom Love
My beloved, hear My heart today. The world has many definitions of love, but none of them can hold the weight of the love of My Kingdom. True love is not rooted in convenience, in fleeting emotion, or in what you can gain. True love is born from sacrifice, covenant, and the willingness to see another through My eyes.
In your relationships, with your spouse, your family, your brothers and sisters in the faith, love must be the foundation. Without love, all gifts and talents are empty noise. Did I not say through My servant Paul, “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal” (1 Corinthians 13:1)? Love is the proof of My Spirit dwelling within you.
Love in relationships means patience when another stumbles. It means kindness when harshness would be easier. It is not jealous, it does not boast, it does not keep record of wrongs (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). Love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8). Love reaches into brokenness and calls out wholeness. Love lays down pride to choose reconciliation.
Consider My love for you. “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends” (John 15:13). I showed you the highest form of love on the cross. I did not endure the nails because you were perfect, but because I loved you while you were still sinners (Romans 5:8). My love has always pursued you, and it never gives up.
In marriage, love is not a contract, it is covenant. Husbands, love your wives as I loved the church and gave Myself up for her (Ephesians 5:25). Wives, respect and honor your husbands, for this reflects the order and beauty of the Kingdom (Ephesians 5:33). A marriage rooted in My love becomes unshakable, because it is built on Me, the Rock that cannot be moved.
In friendships, love is loyalty. Think of Jonathan and David, whose souls were knit together (1 Samuel 18:1-3). Jonathan risked his life to protect David, because true love does not envy another’s calling, it celebrates it. In the Kingdom, you are called to lift one another up, not compete with each other.
Even in the hardest relationships, I call you to walk in love. “Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you” (Matthew 5:44). Kingdom love is not dependent on how others treat you. It flows from who I am in you. When you love in the face of rejection, you reveal Heaven on earth.
Remember this, love is the seal that marks you as Mine. “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35). Let your life preach louder than your lips. Let love be the fragrance that follows you into every room.
And when you struggle, look at Me. My love has never failed you. “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come… shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39). If My love for you cannot be broken, then I will also give you the grace to love others beyond human strength.
This is Kingdom love, unselfish, unyielding, unconditional. Receive it, walk in it, and give it away. For love is the language of Heaven, and it will endure forever.
