Look at the condition of this world. Look at how cold humanity has become. Look at the hatred, the violence, the deception, the lawlessness, the suffering, and the division. Scripture warned that the love of many would wax cold. It warned that evil would be called good and good evil. It warned that there would come an hour when humanity would be shaken out of its comfort and people would suddenly begin questioning everything they mocked. And hear me carefully. If Scripture is right, what you are seeing right now is nothing compared to what the Bible says is still to come. So are you willing to take that wager? Are you willing to bet your soul that there is no God? Are you willing to bet eternity that Yeshua HaMashiach was just another man? Are you willing to gamble that there will never come a moment when everything you laughed at suddenly becomes terrifyingly real? Because eternity is a very long time to discover you were wrong.

And this is where I need some of you to really hear me. This world taught you that following God meant following religion. It does not. Yeshua HaMashiach did not come here for religion. He came for relationship. And believe me, I understand why some of you want absolutely nothing to do with church. You have watched people gossip about one another. You have watched people slander one another. You have watched people live evil Monday through Saturday and then put on their church clothes Sunday morning and act holy for two hours. You have watched people quote Scripture while having no love in their heart whatsoever. You have watched people preach mercy while showing none, preach forgiveness while destroying people behind their backs, and preach holiness while living completely different lives when nobody is watching. And you looked at all of that and thought, “If that is God, I want nothing to do with Him.” I get it. I really do.

There was a period in my own life when I stopped going to church for five years. I had been hit in the face with a tool bag so hard that my orbital socket was shattered. I went and told a preacher what had happened to me, and he did not do a damn thing. Nothing. So believe me when I tell you that I understand what it feels like to look at religious people and wonder where God is in any of it. I understand what it feels like to see someone who is supposed to represent God fail miserably when you desperately need compassion, protection, and love. But eventually I had to learn something that changed everything for me. The failure of religious people is not the failure of God. The hypocrisy of a preacher does not erase Yeshua. The cruelty of a Christian does not cancel the cross. The gossip of church people does not change who the Father is. And the person who wounded you while carrying a Bible does not get to decide whether you ever know God for yourself.

Stop judging Yeshua by people who refuse to act like Him. Look at Him. Read His words. Look at how He treated the broken. Look at how He defended the condemned. Look at how He sat with the rejected. Look at how He touched people everybody else considered unclean. Look at how He confronted religious hypocrisy. Maybe the Jesus you rejected was never actually Jesus at all. Maybe you rejected the counterfeit version people showed you. And if that is you, I am asking you to forget religion for a moment. Forget denominations. Forget church politics. Forget the preacher who hurt you. Forget the Christian who judged you. Forget the person who quoted Scripture while destroying you behind closed doors. Go somewhere alone. Close the door. Put the noise away and simply say, “Yeshua, if You are real, show me who You really are.” That is where relationship begins. Not with a building. Not with a denomination. Not with somebody else’s approval. With you and Him.

And understand something else while you are at it. He is not looking for perfect people. He is looking for people who carry His heart. Hell, look through Scripture. Every single person God used had something broken somewhere. They had histories. They had failures. They had tempers. They had fear. They had doubt. They had shame. Many of them knew prison cells, persecution, rejection, exile, grief, bondage, and rock bottom. And if they had half the drugs and substances available back then that we have today, hell, some of them probably would have been on them too. And you know what? He still would have used them. Because God has never been intimidated by somebody’s mess. He has never looked down from Heaven and said, “You have gone too far for Me now.”

That is one of the greatest lies religion has ever taught people, that you are too far gone, that you have messed up too badly, that your past is too ugly, that your addiction is too strong, that your record is too long, that you have fallen too many times, and therefore God could never want anything to do with you. That is a lie. He takes broken vessels and puts treasure inside of them. He takes the people everybody else counted out and says, “Watch what I do with this one.” It is not always about where you started. It is about how you finish. Your beginning does not get the final word over your life. Your worst day does not get the final word. Your addiction does not get the final word. Your jail cell does not get the final word. Your divorce, your failures, your shame, your mistakes, your scars, none of them get the final word. God does.

Some of you think you have to clean yourself up before you can come to God. You think you need to stop everything, fix everything, heal everything, understand the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, put on church clothes, learn Christian vocabulary, and somehow become worthy before you approach Him. No. Come dirty. Come hurting. Come angry. Come confused. Come with the addiction. Come with the record. Come with the scars. Come with the questions. Come with the parts of your story you are ashamed to tell anybody else. Just come. Because Yeshua never walked around looking for polished religious trophies. He walked straight toward the people society had already decided were too damaged, too sinful, too unclean, too disgraced, and too far gone. Those were the people who recognized Him because they knew they needed Him.

That is what religion so often gets backwards. Religion says, “Fix yourself and then maybe you can come inside.” Yeshua says, “Come to Me and let Me change your heart.” He is not impressed by somebody who knows how to look holy in public while carrying hatred, gossip, pride, cruelty, and judgment behind closed doors. He is looking for people who carry His heart. People who love when it costs them something. People who show mercy because they remember needing mercy. People who reach down because they remember what the floor felt like. People who can sit beside somebody everybody else abandoned and say, “I am not afraid of your story.”

So if you have been sitting there thinking, “God would never want somebody like me,” you may be exactly the kind of person He has been reaching for this entire time. Your brokenness does not frighten Him. Your past does not shock Him. Your scars do not disqualify you. Stop waiting until you become some imaginary perfect person before you call His name. It is not where you start. It is how you finish. And some of the people with the ugliest beginnings end up carrying the most powerful testimonies because when everybody else saw a lost cause, God saw somebody He was not finished with yet.

Maybe thousands of people will scroll past this. Maybe people will mock it. Maybe people will laugh and call it foolishness. I do not care. Because if this reaches one person who gave up on God because religious people wounded them, then this was worth writing. Hear me tonight. People failed you. God did not become those people. Do not wager eternity because somebody carrying His name failed to carry His heart. Ask Him for yourself. Seek Him for yourself. Call His name for yourself. And before you scroll past this, answer one question that nobody else can answer for you. Are you absolutely certain there is nothing on the other side of this life? Because if you are wrong, you are not wagering tomorrow. You are wagering eternity.

General of The Remnant

This is for the one person who is going to read this and say, “I don’t believe in God.” Then I have one question for you.
