I need to speak directly to the women of the Remnant today, because far too many of you have messaged me after somebody tried to silence you with a Bible verse. And I am tired of watching Scripture, which was given to liberate people from sin and bring them into the truth of God, get picked up and wielded like a club against women. I am tired of watching control masquerade as holiness. I am tired of watching insecurity call itself \u201cbiblical authority.\u201d<\/p>\n
And I am especially tired of men acting as though possessing a Y chromosome automatically makes them the mouthpiece of Almighty God. It does not. God chooses whom God chooses. God calls whom God calls. And if the Holy Spirit decides to put fire in the mouth of a woman, you had better be very careful before you decide God made a mistake.<\/p>\n
Yes, Paul wrote in 1 Timothy that he did not permit a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man. Timothy was ministering in Ephesus, a church dealing with false teaching, disorder, deception and serious doctrinal problems. Christians have debated for centuries whether Paul\u2019s instruction in that passage was a universal restriction for every congregation forever or an instruction addressing particular circumstances in that church.<\/p>\n
But let me make something extremely clear about where I personally stand on this, because I do not want anybody twisting my words or wondering what I believe. After my heart attack and death experience in 2022, and through what I describe as thousands of conversations with Yeshua HaMashiach since that time, I believe Yeshua specifically told me that Paul\u2019s instruction concerning women was not a command for all time. He told me that it was a command for a season, addressing what was happening in that time.<\/p>\n
I am not telling you that because I read somebody else\u2019s commentary and adopted their theology. I am telling you what I believe Yeshua personally taught me. According to what I believe He revealed to me, it was for a season. It was not an eternal muzzle placed over every daughter of God for every generation, every church, every nation and all time.<\/p>\n
But what you cannot honestly do is rip two verses out of the New Testament and pretend the rest of the Bible disappeared. Because the same Bible gives you Deborah judging Israel. The same Bible gives you Huldah speaking the word of the Lord. The same Bible gives you Priscilla helping instruct Apollos. The same Bible gives you Phoebe, whom Paul commended to the Roman church.<\/p>\n
The same Bible gives you women prophesying. The same Bible tells us that on the day of Pentecost the Spirit would be poured out upon sons and daughters, and that both men and women would prophesy. And when Yeshua rose from the grave, some of the first human beings entrusted with announcing the resurrection were women. So spare me the doctrine that says Almighty God somehow becomes threatened when a woman opens her mouth.<\/p>\n
And before somebody twists what I am saying, I am not preaching hatred toward men. I love godly men. I honor godly fathers, godly husbands, godly pastors and godly leaders. There is enormous strength in a man who loves God enough to lay down his pride and serve his family.<\/p>\n
But godly masculinity and misogyny are not the same thing. Leadership is not domination. Headship is not humiliation. Authority is not ownership. Submission does not mean a woman loses her mind, her voice, her discernment, her spiritual gifts or her calling. Yeshua never needed to diminish a woman in order to prove that a man had value. And any theology that requires women to become smaller so men can feel larger has confused the insecurity of man with the authority of God.<\/p>\n
I watched some of what Doug Wilson and the movement surrounding him have been teaching, including ideas about women, leadership and even women\u2019s political voice, and it deeply bothered me. And hear me clearly: this isn\u2019t Republican versus Democrat. This isn\u2019t left versus right. This is a kingdom issue.<\/p>\n
I don\u2019t care which political party puts somebody on a stage. I don\u2019t care whether they wear a red tie or a blue one. If something does not reflect the character of God, I am not going to baptize it because somebody put the word \u201cChristian\u201d in front of it. Jesus Christ does not need misogyny to defend Christianity. He does not need racism to defend Christianity. He does not need domination, cruelty or hatred to defend Christianity. The King of Kings is perfectly capable of defending His own kingdom.<\/p>\n
Since my experience in 2022, which I have testified about publicly, I have repeatedly spoken about what I believe Yeshua HaMashiach has taught me concerning His heart toward women and children. He loves them. Children are precious to Him. Read the Gospels. Look at how fiercely He warned anyone who would cause one of the little ones to stumble.<\/p>\n
Look at how He treated women in a culture where women were frequently dismissed. He spoke with them. He taught them. He defended them. He received them. Women followed Him, supported His ministry and stood near Him at the cross when others had fled. Women came to the tomb. Women carried the news that death had lost. So do not come to me preaching a Jesus who treats women like spiritual furniture, because that is not the Yeshua I see anywhere in the Gospels.<\/p>\n
And let me broaden this beyond misogyny, because this is where religion gets uncomfortable. Racism does not reflect the heart of the Father. Child abuse does not reflect the heart of the Father. Domestic abuse does not reflect the heart of the Father. Hatred does not reflect the heart of the Father.<\/p>\n
Gossip, slander and destroying your neighbor do not reflect the heart of the Father. Cheating on your husband or wife does not reflect the heart of the Father. Living enslaved to pornography while refusing conviction does not reflect the heart of the Father. Substance abuse that you proudly refuse to confront does not reflect the heart of the Father. Pride does not reflect the heart of the Father.<\/p>\n
And you don\u2019t get to condemn one person\u2019s sin while building a comfortable little house for your own.<\/p>\n
Some of you want to inspect everybody else\u2019s fruit while your own tree is rotten.<\/p>\n
That is why I have warned people for years about this watered-down version of salvation that tells somebody to repeat a sentence, live however they want afterward, never repent, never change, never experience conviction, never surrender anything, and then confidently declare themselves ready for heaven.<\/p>\n
I do not believe Scripture gives us permission for that kind of presumption. I believe genuine salvation produces something. Not perfection. Transformation. There is a difference.<\/p>\n
I still make mistakes. You will still make mistakes. Every person walking this earth will stumble somewhere. But when the Holy Spirit truly takes residence in you, sin starts bothering you. Things you once celebrated begin grieving you. Things you once defended begin convicting you.<\/p>\n
You start laying things down not because somebody is standing over you threatening you, but because you love God and you don\u2019t want to keep wounding the One you love.<\/p>\n
That is repentance.<\/p>\n
And repentance has become almost a dirty word in portions of the modern church because repentance interferes with people\u2019s comfort. Everybody wants a Savior. Far fewer people want a Lord. Everybody wants heaven. Nobody wants to crucify the flesh. Everybody wants grace. Nobody wants correction.<\/p>\n
Everybody wants somebody to tell them how loved they are, and yes, you are profoundly loved, but the love of God is not permission to remain chained to everything Christ came to free you from.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo unholy thing\u201d belongs in the kingdom of perfect holiness. Sit with that.<\/p>\n
If you claim Christ while deliberately living in hatred, cruelty, exploitation, racism, abuse, adultery, deception or some other darkness with absolutely no conviction, no repentance and no desire whatsoever to change, I would be far more concerned about the condition of my own heart than I would be about whether a woman was standing behind a pulpit.<\/p>\n
Somebody needed to hear that.<\/p>\n
You are worried about the woman preaching while ignoring the man beating his wife. You\u2019re worried about the woman teaching while ignoring the pastor addicted to pornography.<\/p>\n
You\u2019re worried about whether her voice is too loud while ignoring the child being abused behind closed doors. You\u2019re worried about her position while your congregation is drowning in gossip, pride, greed, adultery, racism and religious hypocrisy.<\/p>\n
Your priorities are upside down.<\/p>\n
Maybe one reason you are seeing so many women speaking right now is because women are willing to speak where others have become comfortable staying silent. Scripture itself gives us examples of God raising people in unexpected places when those expected to lead would not do what needed to be done.<\/p>\n
God has never needed man\u2019s permission to choose His vessel. If God could speak through a donkey, believe me, He does not need to check your church bylaws before speaking through a daughter.<\/p>\n
And women of God, hear me. Do not turn this into hatred of men either. That would make you guilty of the same poison from the opposite direction. Misandry isn\u2019t holiness any more than misogyny is holiness.<\/p>\n
Forgive. Walk clean. Honor what deserves honor. Respect righteous leadership. Love people. But do not confuse humility with allowing somebody to erase what God placed inside of you. You can be submitted to God without being spiritually intimidated by people.<\/p>\n
I also need to say something about racism because I will never stop saying it: in the kingdom I experienced in 2022, there wasn\u2019t a hierarchy of human worth based on skin pigmentation. I call it the Colorblind Kingdom.<\/p>\n
Hatred cannot survive in the presence of perfect love. If you hate somebody because they are Black, white, Hispanic, Asian, Jewish, Arab or anything else, stop worrying about everybody else\u2019s salvation for five minutes and examine your own heart.<\/p>\n
You cannot spend Monday through Saturday despising people made in God\u2019s image and then sing worship songs on Sunday as though heaven didn\u2019t notice.<\/p>\n
Whatever you do to the least of these matters. How you treated the person who couldn\u2019t benefit you matters. How you treated your wife matters. How you treated your husband matters. How you treated your children matters.<\/p>\n
How you treated the stranger matters. How you treated somebody when nobody was watching matters. How you treated somebody who could not fight back matters.<\/p>\n
And yes, I believe seasons come when people reap what they have been sowing. I have watched destructive choices eventually collapse people\u2019s lives. But I don\u2019t celebrate somebody else\u2019s destruction. The warning is meant to produce repentance before destruction becomes the teacher.<\/p>\n
And finally, while everybody is arguing about denominations, politics, gender roles and personalities, look around you. Look at the instability in this world. Look at the wars. Look at the hatred. Look at the deception. Look at how quickly things once considered impossible have become normal conversation.<\/p>\n
I have written extensively about patterns I believe I see geopolitically, but whether you agree with one prediction I make or none of them is beside the point. You do not need my pattern recognition to recognize that this world is unstable.<\/p>\n
So get your eyes off the circus.<\/p>\n
Stop worshiping politicians. Stop worshiping pastors. Stop worshiping movements. Stop worshiping your denomination. Stop worshiping your own interpretation of Scripture.<\/p>\n
And get your eyes on Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n
Know Him. Repent. Forgive people.<\/p>\n
Get the hatred out. Get the pornography out. Get the adultery out. Get the racism out. Get the gossip out. Get the secret addictions out. Get the religious pride out. Get the domination out. Get the misogyny out.<\/p>\n
Get anything out of your heart that cannot stand in the presence of perfect holiness.<\/p>\n
Because when you finally stand before the King, He isn\u2019t going to ask whether you successfully silenced every woman who irritated you.<\/p>\n
The question will be whether He knew you.<\/p>\n
And to every daughter of God who has been made to feel small because somebody was afraid of your voice: stay humble. Stay teachable. Stay submitted to God. Test everything against Scripture.<\/p>\n
Keep your heart clean. Love without hatred. Repent quickly when you\u2019re wrong.<\/p>\n
But if God truly gave you something to say?<\/p>\n
OPEN YOUR MOUTH.<\/p>\n
And one more thing, because some of you need to hear this just as badly as everything else I have said. If you are truly a new creation in Christ Jesus, no devil and no demon in hell gets to walk into the graveyard of your past and start digging up bones from a life that Yeshua has already redeemed.<\/p>\n
If Christ forgave it, if you repented of it, if that old person died and you were made new, then stop letting religious people resurrect what God buried.<\/p>\n
Think about the thief on the cross. He did not have decades to clean up his reputation. He did not have years to prove himself to religious people. He did not have time to go back and undo every wrong thing he had ever done.<\/p>\n
He turned to Yeshua, and Yeshua received him.<\/p>\n
That is the power of grace. That is the power of repentance. That is the power of redemption.<\/p>\n
And if what you do is constantly dig through another person\u2019s forgiven past so you can shame them, slander them, humiliate them, condemn them and hold over their head what Christ has already washed clean, shame on you. Shame on you.<\/p>\n
You had better be far more concerned about what is living inside your own heart than what used to live inside somebody else\u2019s.<\/p>\n
Because what are you going to do if you spend your whole life standing outside somebody else\u2019s graveyard digging up bones, only to discover at the end that you never dealt with the death inside of your own heart?<\/p>\n
What are you going to do when you are standing outside the gate, still clutching somebody else\u2019s forgiven past in your hands?<\/p>\n
You fools.<\/p>\n
You were so busy condemning the redeemed that you forgot to examine yourselves.<\/p>\n
