Separating Your Peter from Your Judas

Posted on September 24, 2025 by General Coco

Separating Your Peter from Your Judas

One of the hardest lessons in this walk with Yeshua is learning how to separate your Peter from your Judas. Both will deny you. Both will hurt you. Both will fail you when you need them most. But one is worth restoring, and the other is worth releasing.

Peter denied Yeshua three times, yet his heart was broken by his failure. His tears were real, his repentance ran deep, and his destiny was still tied to the Kingdom. Judas betrayed with a kiss, but his heart was already sold out. His end was destruction because he loved the silver more than the Savior.

Many of you are walking with people right now who are revealing which side they stand on. It is painful because both look like friends, both speak like brothers, both share the table with you. But the test comes when the fire turns up. The one who crumbles and repents is a Peter. The one who plots and betrays is a Judas. Do not confuse the two.

Yeshua restored Peter because Peter still carried the scroll of Heaven over his life. Judas forfeited his scroll for temporary gain. You must learn to discern the difference in your own life. Some people you are called to cover with grace and prayer, even after they wound you. Others you must cut off completely because their kiss carries poison and their presence is sabotage.

This is not about bitterness. This is about discernment. If you keep trying to restore a Judas, you will be destroyed alongside them. If you throw away your Peter, you will lose a soldier who was still meant to fight with you after their moment of weakness. It takes the Spirit to know which is which.

Ask Yeshua to give you eyes to see the heart behind the action. Do not judge only by the pain they caused you, but by the fruit that follows after. A broken and contrite heart is never despised by the Lord. But a hardened and deceitful heart is already condemned.

Family, we are too close to the finish line to be confused about who sits at our table. Your destiny depends on who walks beside you. Separate your Peter from your Judas, and let Yeshua restore what is His while you release what is not.

“You will know them by their fruits” (Matthew 7:16).

Yes general , test their fruits!!! Separate yourself from the Judas and pray for them but be like Paul and repent and turn away from it…. It’s a lot work, but it’s all about dying to self and praying for those who betray im a lot my family has behind closed doors the lord knows… but I pray and forgive them. Hallelujah the king is coming let’s finish strong remnant covering you by the blood of Jesus sister coco!!! Can’t wait to see you up there and remnant

Wow. A timely word of what I’m going through. Sometimes it’s hard when you have ties to people to know whether to love them from a difference or to keep them close. Especially when the reason for having ties in the first place has been at the fault of your own. But there is nothing that my God can’t restore. Praying for the eyes to discern and boldness to walk in obedience through grace of God. Thank you General!
